Abby’s our smallest “sidekick.” Her parents continue to teach her to boat smart. As small as she is, Abby is the first to realize it’s not only important to wear a life jacket, but to wear one that fits. For a life jacket to keep you floating on the water, it needs to be buckled up and fit properly, not loose.
Remember, just as it’s important to “buckle-up” in a car, it’s also important to “buckle-up” on a boat. A buckled seat belt keeps you in a car seat and a buckled life jacket helps keep you from drowning. Boating smart is boating safety.
